Procurement Sales Coordinator

The Procurement Sales Coordinator will contribute to achieving sales goals by supporting sales representatives, fostering good customer/shipper relationships, and coordinating accurate loading and billing. Problem-solving and the ability to prioritize are important factors as well.Who we are:Fresh Alliance, a Buyers Edge Platform brand, provides procurement services to distributors and foodservice operators with over 50+ years of experience in the fresh category. With a commitment to freshness, streamlined logistics, and k-12 services, Fresh Alliance redefines the industry standard, delivering a comprehensive solution and leverages high performance contracts supported by a wide variety of clients. Fresh Alliance is an integral part of the Fresh Division as it directly works with both Fresh Concepts and Produce Alliance providing a direct sourcing and contracting resources to their end user customers.This position will be based out of our Suwanee, GA office. We are unable to offer work sponsorship for this role.Your impact:Help team increase sales and meet goals of the teamExecute the day-to-day buying on contract, including but not limited to order entry, cross-checking order confirmations, and making necessary revisionsFront-facing with customers in communicating difficult situations concerning an ever-changing market with hundreds of distributorsExecute custom contracts and some open market buys specified by the team week-to-weekMaintain accurate contract pricingWork with the custom team and be available for custom meetings and rolloutsWork with growers to ensure accurate loadingField phone calls and emails to assist with truck needs or loading issuesFoster relationships with growers and distributorsMake sure that compliance is being met on contractsComplete Troubleshoot/claims reports and a detailed list of all claims ticketsMaking sure files are marked correctly for claimsKeep a detailed list of all claims reports for the Buyer(s) you’ll assistEnter claims into the system and follow up on addressing, resolving, and closing out all claims in a timely mannerAbout you:Bachelor's degree preferred but not necessary1+ year(s) of accounting experience preferredExcel experience requiredHigh attention to detailGood follow-through and organizational skillsNot sure you meet every qualification?
