Infectious Disease Physician opportunity in San Antonio TX area - clinical and teaching Job# 6312 seeking an Infectious Disease physician to join a faculty affiliated opportunity in San Antonio, Texas. Join 2 other ID physicians in this growing expanding team work Monday through Friday to provide inpatient management of general medical conditions such as hypertension, diabetes, anemia and stable chronic kidney disease in addition to the patients mycobacterial disease. The physician will also rotate weekends taking calls from home. Performs patient history and physical at the time of admission. - Rounds on patients in the hospital daily - Rounds daily with nursing staff to review acute events and the patient care plan. - Participates regularly in multidisciplinary rounds. - Maintains appropriate records. - Teaches residents and fellows rotating from outside institutions such as UT San Antonio Strong compensation package to include sign on bonus and relocation assistance Benefits: Paid Medical Insurance Premiums - Life Insurance - Competitive Retirement Plans - Fee exempt status for DEA License - sign on and relocation allowance - Malpractice: no tail coverage policy needed, PTO,Holidays, CME Time etc Interested in learning more?
