Based in our nearby project office, this role requires a proactive approach and significant time spent on a 1-million-square-foot construction site to observe progress firsthand. In this role, you will bridge the gap between field performance and financial reporting. You will be responsible for tracking installed quantities and production rates, synthesizing data from multiple sources to provide accurate, high-level financial analysis. Additionally, you will oversee the tracking and financial reporting for all Time & Material (T&M) activities and change orders.Candidate ProfileApplicants may come from a variety of professional backgrounds, including but not limited to:Cost EngineersProject Controls ProfessionalsProject Accountants with field exposureGraduate Engineers with coursework in accounting and job costingData Science EngineersField Supervisors and Project Managers with strong financial understandingJob DescriptionUpdate and maintain a production and quantity tracking system for all major electrical scopesPerform regular field walks to confirm quantities and field activitiesCompare and report on budget vs actual variancesIdentify and flag anomaliesCoordinate and interact with field supervision to understand budgeted production expectations.Review, manage, and validate the T&M processReview, manage, and maintain change order trackingPrepare weekly and monthly PAR and cost reports, extracting data from multiple systems, including:ProcoreJDEInternal databaseP6Cupix3D ModelShop DrawingsDevelop trend analysis and tracking reportsEstablish and revise projected budgets as shop drawings are completed.RequirementsBachelor’s degree in construction management, Engineering, Project Accounting, Project Management, or equivalent experienceThree (3)+ years of related experience strongly preferredWorking Knowledge of construction job costing and accounting conceptsAbility to reference and interpret construction drawings, models, and specificationsProficiency in MS Excel, including data aggregation, formulas, and reportingEffective communicator and comfortable in both office and construction site environmentsPreferred but not required knowledge of:ProcoreElectrical Estimating Ability3D ModelingCupix or another digital twin environmentJDE ERPOUR MISSIONWe build critical infrastructure that creates a better world.OUR VISIONWe strive to be the preeminent full-service civil, building, and specialty contractor by delivering innovative, transformative projects through world-class execution.
