Remote Temporary Accounting Support (4-6 weeks temp)

This is a 4-6 week long contract position Salary: $24-28/hourWe are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Temporary Accountant to join our finance team for a short-term assignment of 4–6 weeks. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of accounting experience, be highly organized, and able to quickly adapt to existing systems and processes. This role provides support with daily accounting functions, month-end activities, and other financial reporting tasks.#LAT Responsibilities: Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statements.Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.Support month-end and year-end close activities.Ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting policies and procedures.Assist in resolving account discrepancies and researching variances.Support ad-hoc reporting and special projects as needed.$24 - $28 an hour
