Facility HVAC Technician (NIGHT SHIFT)

Job Description:Position Summary for HVAC TechnicianNY Creates is seeking a skilled HVAC Technician (Night Shift) to support the operation and maintenance of complex mechanical and HVAC systems within a high-tech semiconductor research and development environment. This role is responsible for ensuring the reliability and performance of HVAC equipment that supports office, laboratories, and cleanroom environments. Assigned evenings will be for the N2 shift working Wednesday- Friday and every other Saturday.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on HVAC systems and related mechanical equipment.Preventive maintenance; lock-out tag-out protocol.Inventory and facility operating system document control.Monitoring and responding to all facility reporting alarms & controlsSystem balancing.Operation and maintenance of boilers, chillers, compressors, pumps, air handling units, etc.Understanding all related disciplines such as process, waste and water treatment, building automation.Attention to customer satisfaction and support.Must conduct work in an independent manner.There will be opportunities for overtime hours.Work collaboratively with facilities, engineering, and operations teams to support site needs.Ensure compliance with all safety, environmental, and operational procedures.Other reasonable duties assigned.Requirements:Minimum Requirements for Facility HVAC TechnicianThe position requires EPA Universal Refrigeration Certification AND a technical trade degree with 5 years of related mechanical work experience OR a minimum of 8 years of Mechanical/HVAC experience in a facility operations or construction environment.Must have the ability to pass a physical exam and fit test to earn and maintain membership and certification in the Emergency Response Team.Must have the ability to provide off-shift coverage.Good communications skills and proficient use of Microsoft Office and computer maintenance management programs are also required.This position is contingent on the satisfactory completion of a background check; this position may require annual background checks.PREFERRED REQUIREMENTSExperience with the installation and operation of integrated Building Management Systems (Siemens, Honeywell) and PLC'sDon't meet every requirement?
