Job Title: SAP ABAP DeveloperLocation: 100% RemoteDuration: 7 Months (with potential for extension)Job Overview:Conviso Inc. is seeking a highly skilled SAP ABAP Developer for a 100% remote position. This role is initially slated for 7 months, with the possibility of extension based on project needs and performance. The ideal candidate will have experience as an SAP development lead, with a strong understanding of the SAP Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and hands-on ABAP skills.This role involves working on a key project in partnership with Deloitte for their client, Amtrak. The successful candidate will contribute to the development and support of critical SAP applications as part of this collaboration.Key Responsibilities:Develop, customize, and maintain SAP applications using ABAP programming.Lead and manage the SAP development process, ensuring adherence to the SAP SDLC.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.Design, develop, and implement RICEFW (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms, and Workflows) objects.Troubleshoot and resolve ABAP-related errors and defects.Provide technical support and guidance to junior developers and other team members.Engage in custom development projects, including JavaScript integration with SAP.Ensure high-quality deliverables and maintain documentation of all development work.Qualifications:Proven experience as an SAP ABAP Developer with hands-on experience in custom development.Prior experience in a SAP development lead role, with a deep understanding of the SAP SDLC.Strong knowledge of RICEFW development.Experience with JavaScript and its integration with SAP applications is a plus.Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot ABAP-related issues.Strong communication and collaboration skills.Preferred Qualifications:Experience in supporting ABAP-related errors/defects.Ability to work independently in a remote environment and manage time effectively.
