Construction-Associate Project Manager
What this job involves:As a Project Manager at JLL, you'll work as part of a collaborative project team to deliver exceptional client service while managing the scope, schedule, and budget for a variety of project assignments. In this role, you'll contribute to shaping a brighter way for our clients by proactively managing project-related issues, coordinating with contractors and vendors, and ensuring all deliverables meet client requirements in a timely and cost-effective manner. You'll be responsible for managing smaller, less complex projects independently while supporting senior team members on larger initiatives. This role offers the chance to develop your skill base, bring fresh concepts to the business unit, and advance your career within a company that embraces more innovative ways of working.What your day-to-day will look like:Manage small to mid-sized projects from initiation through completion, making independent decisions within your scope and seeking guidance when neededCoordinate and document all project meetings, including preparing agendas, transcribing meeting minutes, and maintaining punch listsAssist in developing and updating project schedules and budgets, tracking invoices, and ensuring financial targets are metCoordinate activities of subcontractors, manage vendor RFPs, and negotiate with contractors to maintain project timelines and quality standardsProduce monthly project reports and ensure all project data is maintained and updated in real time across digital platformsMaintain accurate and consistent electronic files and documentation using project management tools, templates, and digital interfacesSupport business development initiatives by preparing proposal materials, identifying new leads through personal contacts, and contributing to client presentationsRequired qualifications:3-5 years of practical experience in a project management positionDemonstrated ability to prepare and track project budgets with accuracyStrong organizational skills with the ability to identify and manage competing priorities effectivelyExcellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to prepare comprehensible correspondence using proper grammar and appropriate formatsHighly developed interpersonal skills with the ability to interact professionally with executive-level external and internal clientsProficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and project management softwareDetail-oriented approach with strong analytical capabilities and the ability to multi-task in both team and independent settingsPreferred qualifications:Experience in construction management or commercial real estateUnderstanding of technical requirements for business relocations and workspace transformationsFamiliarity with architectural drawings and furniture and space planning conceptsFlexibility with work hours and travel as project needs require
