The Engineering Administrative Assistant position provides support on operational engineering related issues, including associate time entry, training tracking & documentation, daily scheduling for the ESM, Contractor sign in, and data entry.Responsibilities and DutiesAssist in the development of Engineering Services procedures and policiesMaintain files, records, and reportsAdminister specified tasks in SAP Management SystemEnter data into AMMSOpen and close PM packets in AMMSMaintain ESM's daily calendarUpdate the Engineering Dept DMS board dailyPrepare management information reports and documentsLiaison with payroll, absence recording, and holiday recording systemsAssist engineering management with AMMS PM development and modificationsEnter and maintain associate education/training documentationMaintain up to date files on contractors related to certificates of liability insurance & drug screen resultsMaintain safety sub-committee informationCoordinate sub-committee activitiesCollect, prepare, and mail legal & environmental documentsAny other duties as assigned by managerQualifications - Required:Ability to speak, write and read the English languageAbility to read and prepare a variety of documents and reports including requisition entry, MES/AMMS reports, and other office correspondenceAbility to communicate and interact with other associates, contractors, vendors, and the general public, while exhibiting poise, voice control and confidenceProficient in PC hardware components, desktop operation system software, application software, MES, AMMS, SAP, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft PowerPoint.Able to work alone on broad variety of projectsAble to handle contractor/vendor visits and requirements Qualifications - Preferred:Minimum 2 year Associates Degree preferred or equivalent experience in Administration.Proficient in SAP.Proficient in Microsoft Excel & PowerPoint The successful candidate should demonstrate strengths in the following:Problem solving and analytical skillsInitiative and self-motivationCommunication skills Milliken is an equal opportunity employer and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to actual or perceived race, color, creed, religion, sex or gender (including pregnancy, childbirth or related medical condition, including but not limited to lactation), sexual orientation, gender identity or gender expression (including transgender status), ancestry, national origin, citizenship, age physical or mental disability, genetic information, marital status, veteran or military status or any other characteristic protected by applicable law.
