Job DescriptionAccounting Associate - Direct Bill CommissionJob SummaryAn established and nationally recognized insurance brokerage is seeking an Accounting Associate - Direct Bill Commission to support accounting and operational functions. This role focuses on the accurate recording, reconciliation, and resolution of direct bill commissions across both Property & Casualty and Life & Health lines. This position offers strong long-term growth potential and exposure to a specialized area of insurance accounting within a stable, growth-oriented environment. ResponsibilitiesRecord and reconcile direct bill commission statements for Property & Casualty and Life & Health lines Match carrier commission statements to payments received and identify discrepancies Research and resolve commission-related issues in collaboration with internal departments and carriers Process commission return payments and adjustments Maintain and update carrier banking information related to commission activity Partner with internal accounting teams and external vendors to ensure accuracy and compliance Support ongoing process improvements within a fast-paced, growth-focused environment Qualifications/Requirements2+ years of accounting experience; accounts receivable or accounts payable experience preferred Strong proficiency in Excel, including reconciliations and data review Insurance agency experience preferred Experience with EPIC agency management system highly preferred Detail-oriented with strong organizational and analytical skills Comfortable handling sensitive financial information Compensation PackageBase salary: $55,000 - $65,000 Disclaimer: Please note that this job description may not cover all duties, responsibilities, or aspects of the role, and it is subject to modification at the employer's discretion.
