This position is ideal for someone who is motivated to advance, dedicated to high-quality work, and excited to play a key role on a team committed to being the best in the industry.If you take pride in your work, are ready to own your cases, and want to be part of a firm that acknowledges and rewards strong performance, we encourage you to apply.Benefits:● Holidays and Paid Time Off● Health Insurance● 401(k)● Bonus opportunitiesWork Location: In PersonSchedule: M-FJob Type: Full-time, hourlySalary: Beginning at $45,000Background checks: RequiredResponsibilities:Responsibilities include:Draft correspondence, pleadings, and court documentsE-file all court documents in state and federal courtsCommunicate with clients, court, counsel, and othersPrepare trial binders and exhibitsPerform administrative duties (calendar hearings and deadlines, organize case files, manage logistics)Schedule, coordinate, calendar, and confirm court dates, appointments, and meetingsOpen new litigation filesSchedule phone calls and medical appointments for clientsMaintain pleadings and discovery indexesOrganize exhibits, documents, evidence, briefs, and appendicesGather relevant information from a variety of sourcesLiaise between trial teams and internal/external third partiesMonitor and ensure that we receive all requested documents in a timely mannerPrepare deposition and trial notebooks, including medical records notebooksManage all medical bill reductions from providersAssist with all post-settlement requirements, including but not limited to preparing closing statements, obtaining final balances, and lien updates, for all litigation casesDocument all communications in case management systemJob-Related Skills and Abilities:Ability to prioritize and manage workload with minimal supervisionHighly organized with the ability to juggle multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment, with exceptional attention to detailExcellent interpersonal and communication skillsQualifications:Education/Training/Experience:Required:● 2 years of litigation experience● 2 years of experience in Personal Injury or other injury related practice areas● Strong drafting and writing skills● Familiarity with legal specifics related to the firms' areas of law● Applicable knowledge of motions, discovery, evidence, litigation documentation, court rules, and procedures, practices● Experience with E-Filing Portal● Proficient in technology & software, including databases● Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Preferred:● 2+ years of litigation experience● 2+ years experience in Personal Injury or other injury related practice areas● Experience with Filevine and LeadDocketAbout Company:Andrew Pickett Law is a growing personal injury law firm focused on delivering exceptional client service and making a meaningful impact in our community.
