***This is a 12+ Month W2 Contract-to-hire***ResponsibilitiesPerforming static, dynamic, and DaDT structural analyses of metallic and composite airframe structure, mechanical systems, and equipment, by hand and by using the automated methods and procedures approved for the programMay derive non-flight applied loads, create, extract, and distribute internal loads utilizing tools such as FEMAP, NX, Teamcenter and other software applicationsCandidate must be able to collaborate in a team environment, prioritize and adjust tasks to accomplish the project result, prioritize multiple responsibilities and/or accomplish them simultaneously, and comprehend and analyze complex problems and develop solutions.Basic QualificationsBachelor's degree in Engineering or another STEM discipline with 12+ years of relevant engineering experience; OR Master's degree in a STEM discipline with 10+ years of relevant engineering experience; OR Ph.D. in a STEM discipline with 7+ year of relevant engineering experienceAbility to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearanceStrong background in structural analysis with demonstrated engineering experienceExperience with FEMAP, NX NASTRAN, ANSYS, or ABAQUS finite element analysis softwareAbility to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documentationProficiency with standard office software and engineering documentation toolsStrong organizational skills, ability to take direction, and effectively manage assigned work
