Your expertise will directly support engineering decisions that contribute to the success of innovative aviation programs. nThis role is ideal for an experienced engineer who enjoys tackling complex technical challenges, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and driving high-quality engineering solutions. nWhat You'll Do nnnPerform static, dynamic, and Damage Tolerance and Durability (DaDT) structural analyses of metallic and composite aircraft structures n nnAnalyze airframe structures, mechanical systems, and equipment using both hand calculations and approved engineering tools n nnEvaluate structural performance and compliance with aerospace requirements and standards n nnDerive non-flight applied loads and assess structural loading conditions n nnCreate, extract, and distribute internal loads data using tools such as: n nnFEMAP n nnNX n nnTeamcenter n nnOther engineering software applications n nnSupport aircraft development, sustainment, and design improvement efforts n nnCollaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams to deliver technical solutions n nnAnalyze complex engineering challenges and develop effective, innovative solutions n nnManage multiple priorities while supporting critical program milestones and deliverables n nnContribute technical expertise during design reviews and engineering assessments n n nRequired Qualifications nCandidates must meet one of the following education and experience requirements: nnBachelor's degree in a STEM discipline and 12+ years of experience, including aerospace structural analysis n nOR nnMaster's degree in a STEM discipline and 10+ years of experience, including aerospace structural analysis n nOR nnPh.D. in a STEM discipline and 7+ years of experience, including aerospace structural analysis n nAdditionally, candidates must: nnnMust be eligible to obtain a Security Clearance. n nnDemonstrate strong analytical, problem-solving, and technical skills n nnThrive in a collaborative team environment n nnEffectively manage multiple responsibilities and competing priorities n n nPreferred Qualifications nnnDegree in Aerospace, Mechanical, or Structural Engineering n nnExperience with advanced composite airframe structures n nnExperience using AFGROW n nnStrong knowledge of aerospace structural analysis methods and tools n nnExperience leading engineering projects or technical teams n nnProven ability to collaborate across functional teams n nnDemonstrated success solving complex engineering problems n n nWhy Join Us? nAt PDS Tech Commercial , we connect exceptional talent with opportunities that shape the future of aviation and advanced technology.
