We are seeking an experienced Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (PNP) with a critical care focus for a locum tenens opportunity in a respected hospital system near Flagstaff. Position Highlights Patient Load: 7???15 patients/day, ages 0???18 Units Covered: Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) & General Pediatrics Shifts: Scheduled day and night shifts; no on-call responsibilities EMR: Cerner Key Responsibilities Provide advanced care in a Pediatric ICU setting. Perform procedures such as: Intubations Central and arterial line placements Lumbar punctures Collaborate closely with physicians and trauma teams, including cases involving pediatric neurosurgery. Ensure thorough documentation and patient care planning via Cerner EMR. Qualifications Board Certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (PNP-AC preferred) Active Arizona NP license DEA registration, PALS & BLS certifications Minimum 1 year of recent PICU experience Strong proficiency in acute care procedures and inpatient hospital workflow This exceptional role offers the chance to enhance your career while significantly impacting the lives of pediatric patients.
