This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer with strong technical design experience who enjoys working in a collaborative environment and contributing to a wide range of land development and infrastructure projects. As a Civil Engineer, you will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams of engineers and scientists to support the planning, design, and execution of site/civil engineering projects.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform detailed site/civil engineering design including: site layout, grading & drainage, utility design, stormwater management systems, erosion & sedimentation control plansPrepare site plans and construction documentsConduct hydrologic and hydraulic analysesSupport permitting efforts and coordinate with local and state agenciesPerform occasional field work and site investigationsCollaborate with internal project teams to deliver high-quality technical solutionsAssist with project coordination, scheduling, and technical documentationSkills, Knowledge and ExpertiseBachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering4+ years of relevant civil/site engineering experienceConnecticut FE license requiredPE license preferred, or ability to obtain within 2 yearsStrong proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3DExperience with StormCAD and HydroCAD preferredFamiliarity with local and state permitting requirementsStrong written and verbal communication skillsAbility to manage multiple assignments and work effectively within a team environmentThis is a hybrid role, offering the best of both worlds—collaborate in-office with a high-performing team and enjoy the flexibility of working remotely part of the week.
