We partner directly with leading IDMs, foundries, substrate manufacturers, and OSATs building the most advanced AI and HPC platforms in the world.Job Role – Who We WantThe DART (Dielectrically Advanced Resin Technology) team at Thintronics is looking for a detail-oriented and enthusiastic research associate to join our R&D team. This role focuses on formulation/sample preparation and/or physical characterization of samples, including thermal, mechanical, adhesive, and dielectric property measurements. In this position, you will help deepen our understanding of the core Thintronics technology and develop our product pipeline.As part of a start-up, you can expect opportunities to grow and learn new skills. We are looking for someone with a “can-do” attitude, who is excited about the opportunity to explore/develop a broad range of practical skills and loves hands-on work in the lab. Roles and responsibilities are collaborative and may evolve based on the needs of our quickly growing company as well as your skillset/interests.Minimum Qualifications:B.S. in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or related disciplineMust be able to move up to 25 poundsPreferred Qualifications:M.S. in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or related discipline1–5 years of relevant industry/start-up experienceExperience with polymer/composite formulation and/or thin film fabricationBe familiar with analytical instruments including TGA, DMA, TMA, DSC, rheometer, Brookfield viscometer, FTIR, SEM, laser confocal microscope (Keyence), Instron/Zwick universal testing systems, peel testersRigorous attention to detail with experimental design, execution, and recordkeepingStrong analytical, organizational, teamwork, and time management skillsAble to juggle multiple tasks efficientlyPreference will go to local candidatesLevel of Research Associate (RA) will depend on overall qualifications and years of experience.Expectations:Joining a start-up requires a willingness to embrace change and uncertainty with your projects. The DART team and Thintronics are growing – are you ready to join us?Compensation/BenefitsThintronics offers a competitive base salary commensurate with experience and qualifications.Compensation growth is tied to role performance and advancement, with clear opportunities for increase through promotion as the company scales.In addition to base salary, this role includes a grant of qualified stock options subject to standard vesting schedules.The base salary range for this position is $70,000–$110,000 per year. Actual compensation will depend on the candidate's experience, skills, and qualifications.This role also includes eligibility for a Thintronics' benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k), and paid time off.Thintronics is an equal opportunity employer.
