With many more exciting projects on the horizon, our team could use your curiosity, passion, talent and experience to help us Build Above.SummaryRedwire Space Missions, LLC is seeking a highly skilledRemote, Contractor-Master Project Schedulerto support complexspace vehicle development programs for approximately 3 months,with the possibility of extension. This role is central to building, integrating, and maintaining program schedules that align withMILSTD881 Work Breakdown Structures (WBS)and the rigorous demands of spacecraft design, integration, test, and launch operations.The ideal candidate brings deep experience in aerospace or defense programs, thrives in fastmoving technical environments, and can translate engineering inputs into a coherent, fully integrated schedule that drives program execution.ResponsibilitiesDevelop, integrate, and maintainprogram schedulesaligned toMILSTD881WBS structures.Build detailed schedules covering spacecraft subsystems, payloads, propulsion, GNC, mission assurance, environmental test, launch integration, and ground segment activities.Maintain theIntegrated Master Schedule (IMS)and ensure alignment across engineering, supply chain, test, and mission operations.Performcritical path analysis , schedule risk assessments, and whatif modeling to support program decisionmaking.Conduct regular schedule health checks using industrystandard metrics (DCMA 14point, logic quality, float analysis).Support major program reviews (SRR, PDR, CDR, TRR, FRR) with schedule products, briefings, and data packages.Coordinate with CAMs, IPT leads, and technical teams to ensure schedule accuracy and feasibility.Maintain configuration control of schedule baselines and ensure compliance with DoD reporting requirements.Support proposal efforts by developing compliant, resourceinformed schedules aligned to customer requirements.Identify schedule risks, develop mitigation strategies, and support program risk and opportunity management processes.Ideal ExperienceExtensive experience developing and maintaining schedules forspace systems , aerospace, or defense programs.Strong working knowledge ofMILSTD881and DoD WBS development.Proficiency withMicrosoft Projector equivalent scheduling tools.Experience supportingEVMS , IMS integration, and DoD program reporting.Ability to interpret engineering inputs and translate them into actionable schedule activities.Strong analytical skills with the ability to communicate schedule impacts clearly to technical and nontechnical stakeholders.Must be able to travel on occasion as needed.U.S. citizenship required due to government contract requirements.Desired SkillsExperience with spacecraft development lifecycle: design, integration, environmental test, launch prep, and mission operations.Familiarity with DoD acquisition frameworks, mission assurance processes, and spaceflight hardware flow.Experience working with classified or restricted programs.Active DoD security clearance.Redwire is an Equal Opportunity Employer; employment with Redwire is governed on the basis of merit, competence and qualifications and will not be influenced in any manner by race, color, religion, gender, national origin/ethnicity, veteran status, disability status, age, sexual orientation, gender identity, marital status, mental or physical disability or any other legally protected status.All offers of employment at Redwire are contingent upon clear results of a thorough background check and your ability to provide proof of eligibility to work in the US.Note that some positions will also require US citizenship or ability to obtain a security clearance due to requirements of a classified program.To conform to U.S. Government space technology export regulations, including the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) you must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident of the U.S., protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3), or eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State.
