Pre-Construction Manager

Building and cultivating relationships with current and potential customers in the Remedial and New Construction sectors covering waterproofing, roofing or other projects within Chamberlin’s capacity. Selling our services to clients. Helping clients identify opportunities and selling the Chamberlin Value in convincing clients to execute the work with Chamberlin as the service provider (roofing, waterproofing and other scope projects). The PRE MNGR will be the primary contact in the entire estimating process on content and scope of each estimate they produce. Help manage process with Project Estimators on the team. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: field observations and inspections, onscreen estimating, proposal writing, detail review, client interactions, change order management and association involvement. As the PRE MNGR they will be responsible for contract scope verification, client relationship and overall project engagement from start to finish. This includes coordinating and leading client education and client meetings. Other duties as may be assigned or necessary.Experience: If applicant does not have a four-year degree, they must have a minimum of ten (10) years construction experience, at least five (5) years of construction sales experience and have reached the Senior level or equivalent Skills: Selling and closing, Microsoft office, English speaking, bilingual preferredAbilities/Requirements:Strong sales, customer service and client relationship building skills Ability to interpret, understand and train others on construction documents Must have a specific understanding of construction process for remedial construction projects within the scope of work (codes, wind uplift pressures, thermal and moisture intrusion, materials, and methods, etc.). Exceptional written and oral communication skills Problem solving and dispute resolution skills Strong work ethic/self-starter Advanced negotiation and relationship building skills (has current client base) Career ambition to move up within Chamberlin Strong time management skills (able to help manage employees and projects) Must have a valid driver's license Must be authorized to work in the United States Must be able to climb scaffolding, stairs, ladders (standing, stooping bending, lifting, etc.)
