Staff Accountant

DescriptionThe Junior Accountant will be responsible for supporting the finance team by accurately processing vendor invoices, maintaining complete supporting documentation, and performing account reconciliations.Essential Accountabilities:+ Review, verify, and process vendor invoices and match invoices with purchase orders and requisition forms.+ Maintain vendor files, request W-9 forms for new vendors and update vendor information as needed.+ Perform regular reconciliations of vendor statements to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies.+ Respond to vendor inquiries regarding payment status.+ Ensure expenses are coded to the correct GL accounts+ Assist with month-end closing and accounts reconciliation+ Assist with annual audits and provide requested documentation.+ Prepare monthly bank reconciliations+ Maintain organized and up-to-date financial records and documentation.+ Support other accounting tasks as assigned to ensure smooth department operations.RequirementsBachelor's Degree in Accounting-Required.Two years of experience.Proficiency in accounting software and good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team.Robert Half is the world's first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
