Title: Bookkeeping, Accounting, and Auditing Clerks Duration: 2 yearsLocation: Jamaica NY, 11434Shift Timings:Mon-Fri (8:30 am-4:30 pm)Pay: USD 22/hr-USD 24/hrPosition summary:The role involves daily financial operations and maintain accurate financial records. The candidate will have experience with bank reconciliations, financial reporting, GAAP compliance, and accounting software. This role requires strong organizational skills, the ability to work independently, and support for audit preparation activities.Key Responsibilities:Ensure all financial transactions are accurately recorded and properly documented.Perform bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.Maintain compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).Analyze financial information and prepare summaries of financial status and reports.Assist with month-end and year-end accounting processes. Minimum Qualifications:1-3 years of accounting or bookkeeping experience.Knowledge of GAAP and standard accounting procedures.Experience performing bank reconciliations and maintaining financial records.Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Excel. Preferred Qualification:Experience supporting internal or external audits.Familiarity with ERP systems such as QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite.Experience preparing financial statements and reports.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
