Educating the Customer – You’ll explain in detail and help thecustomer understand their options to replace the current door or repair theissue and prevent future ones. After the work is done, you’ll review andexplain it to customers so that they fully understand the work performed. Sell Service, Repairs, and New Equipment – Using our provenmodel, which we train you in, you’ll sell services to the customer using ourmodel. You’ll also collect payment from the customer. Manage Inventory in Your Vehicle – You’ll need the rightequipment, tools, and products to properly sell the job and service theequipment.How to Succeed in this Role Maximizing Your Time – You will stay busy by fully addressingthe customer’s needs and offering them the best solutions and managing yourtime throughout the day to help as many customers as you can. Commitment to Safety – You drive and work safely.Requirements For The Door Designer RoleBasic Position Requirements Communicate and work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Be reliable and able to serve our customers following ourprocess. Have interpersonal skills to communicate effectively withcustomers and solve issues. Must be able to bend, climb, kneel, and stand for extendedperiods of time. Must be able to work in the heat and cold, both outside andinside garages that may not be temperature controlled.Knowledge Experience in the garage door industry is preferred but notrequired – we will train you. Must be able to use a computer and/or tablet. You can’t beafraid of technology.Pay And BenefitsWe offer competitive pay that will meet or beat any trade.During your 90-day training period you will receive a base pay of $1000.00 perweek. After training, you will receive commissions on the work you complete.Most designers make between $60,000 and $100,000 per year.
