Docket Specialist
Position: Docket SpecialistLocation: DTLA (Hybrid, 3 days onsite/week*)Pay: $80,000 to $90,000 annually, based on experienceExperience: 5+ years’ experience as a calendar/docket clerk in a law firm or other legal environment is required (Experience as a paralegal or legal assistant with similar case calendaring/docketing responsibilities may be substituted)Type: Full-time; Direct Hire Schedule: 9:00am to 5:00pm (OT as needed)Kent Daniels & Associates is seeking a Docket Specialist with 5+ years’ experience as a calendar/docket clerk in a law firm or other legal environment.Job DescriptionUnderstand court rules, dockets, and other resources to aid in processing documentsEnter high volume of case dares into management system timely and accurately; prepare and issue daily reports and assist with other projects as neededKnowledge of eFiling preferred.Position RequirementsExcellent knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)Knowledge of Milana, CompuLaw Vision, Court Alert, or other docketing/calendaring systems is requiredKnowledge of court rules (Fed. Rules of Civil Pro., Fed. Rules of App. Pro., CA Code of Civil, CA Rules of Court, other states courts’ local rules) is requiredFamiliarity with CA Courts, CA Courts’ third-party filing systems, PACER, CourtLink, Pacer Pro, Tyler Odessey, and other states’ court docket systems preferred.Must have excellent communication and organizational skills with a strong attention to detail.
