Community Well-Being Ambassador - Bilingual (Spanish)At Network Connect, we are committed to empowering our communities by coordinating grassroots efforts with local partners to provide essential services and programs to our youth and families. The Community Well-Being Ambassador is responsible for connecting members of the local community to resources, programming, and wellbeing skills. In this position, your duties include being a part of a community outreach team, connecting with community members, and developing positive relationships with the community at large. Ambassadors may operate as an assigned team member of a community organization or as a single ambassador at large. We value our staff, contractors, and volunteers, ensuring livable wages for all employees — full‑time, part‑time, and contract — and honoring the dignity and contributions of every person involved in our mission.Key ResponsibilitiesEstablish positive, supportive relationships with community members and provide ongoing feedback.Assist community members in utilizing resources, including scheduling appointments and helping with applications for programs for which they may be eligible.Support community members in accessing well‑being‑related services.Motivate community members to be active, engaged participants in their health and overall well‑being.Attend all required trainings and refresher sessions.Attend community meetings and events within assigned zip codes.Effectively work with individuals from diverse backgrounds, helping reduce cultural and socio‑economic barriers between community members and institutions.Build and maintain positive working relationships with community members, providers, nurse case managers, agency representatives, supervisors, and office staff.Other duties as assigned.Required QualificationsDemonstrates a strong desire for personal growth, excellence, and contributing to the development of something meaningful within the community.Credibility and trust within the community being served.Strong leadership skills and an understanding of strategies that enhance community engagement.Proven ability to exercise discretion and independent judgment.A combination of at least 3 years of health/social services experience and/or education.Bilingual/bicultural (Spanish) preferredReliable transportation.
