Compensation will be commensurate upon experience and qualifications. Use our calculator to get the complete picture!SummaryThe Leadership Pikes Peak Program Manager is responsible for the planning, implementation, and management of the Signature programs and other supporting community leadership development opportunities to ensure successful execution and alignment with organizational goals.This is a part-time, 20 hour a week, ongoing 12-month appointment.Essential FunctionsThe duties and responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to:Program DevelopmentDevelop and implement program objectives, goals, and strategies in alignment with organizational mission and objectivesCollaborate with stakeholders to define program requirements and scopeProgram ManagementPlan and coordinate program activities, timelines, and resources to ensure successful execution of the following:Eleven (1) regular program days; program days run from approximately 8:30 am to 4:00 pmOne (1) orientationOne (1) two-day overnight retreatGraduation ceremonyCommunity Leadership ConferenceLeadership Development and Coaching SymposiumCoordinate communication and scheduling for all partiesPlan and organize event catering and supplemental resourcesIdentify, recruit, interview, and onboard LPP program cohort members on a cyclical and yearly basisIdentify, recruit, and communicate with program day key speakers and presentersMonitor program progress and performance, identifying and addressing any issues or risks that may ariseEnsure compliance with relevant regulations, policies, and standardsEvent planning and attendance outside the cohort program to include alumni events, Get on Board, Community Leadership Conference, and UCCS and Partner Institution eventsRegular networking and community partner relationship buildingLead and coordinate the LPP Advisory CommitteeManage LPP social media channels and engage in regular posts and audience engagementMeet monthly with LPP DirectorsBudgeting and Financial ManagementDevelop program budgets, monitor expenditures, and ensure effective resource allocationIdentify potential funding sources and opportunities for financial sustainabilityLead and assist in fundraising and donor engagement activities of initial and ongoing donorsStakeholder EngagementCultivate relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including clients, partners, funders, advisory committee, and community membersCommunicate program goals, progress, and outcomes to stakeholders through reports, presentations, and meetingsSolicit feedback from stakeholders to continuously improve program effectiveness and relevanceOrganize and lead ongoing Advisory Board meetings and activitiesCollaboration and attendance with other College of Education and UCCS units/programsEvaluation and Quality AssuranceEnsure program quality and compliance through regular monitoring and quality assurance measuresProgram Oversight MeetingsMeet monthly with Board Faculty Directors in personShare out program and task progressDevelop new program initiativesExpand LPP footprint and engagement within UCCS College of Education, the larger UCCS campus, and regional stakeholders Tentative Search TimelinePriority will be given to applications submitted by: 11:59 PM May 22, 2026Potential first virtual interview dates: May 27-29Potential final in person interview dates: Week of June 1Potential start date: June 15, 2026CU is an Equal Opportunity Employer and complies with all applicable federal, state, and local laws governing nondiscrimination in employment.
