This individual will play a key role in the design and analysis of bridges and transportation structures, supporting both new and rehabilitated projects. The ideal candidate brings strong state DOT and municipal experience, is proactive, technically driven, and enjoys collaborating within multidisciplinary teams.Key Responsibilities:Design transportation structures, including bridges, in accordance with project requirements and applicable codesPerform structural analysis using industry‑standard software (e.g., MicroStation, OpenBridge Designer, BrR, LEAP Bridge Concrete, or similar tools)Prepare detailed construction drawings and technical documentationCollaborate with internal teams to support projects from concept through final designCoordinate with contractors and public agencies to support successful project deliveryEnsure adherence to QA/QC standards, regulatory requirements, and industry best practicesReview calculations, drawings, and specifications for accuracy, constructability, and safetySupport client relationships through clear communication and thoughtful technical solutionsRequirements:Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or similarMinimum of 4 years of experience in bridge design and transportation‑related projectsProfessional Engineer (PE)requiredFamiliarity with AASHTO, LRFD, and FDOT standardsStrong attention to detail and commitment to qualityPreferred QualificationsMaster's degree in Civil EngineeringExperience with bridge rehabilitation, retaining walls, and other transportation structuresExperience coordinating with design teams and contractors during project executionWhat's Offered:Competitive compensation commensurate with experiencePaid time off and paid holidays401(k) with employer matchComprehensive health, dental, vision, life, and disability benefitsTuition reimbursement and support for professional developmentPaid parental leaveWellness programs and employee resource groupsClear opportunities for long‑term career growth and advancement
