Urban Recovery is a cutting edge substance-use-disorder (SUD) treatment center that has partnered with DailyPay for same day access to funds! Urban Recovery offers inpatient detox, withdrawal, and stabilization services, as well as inpatient rehabilitation services for individuals with substance use disorder.The Registered Nurse (RN) coordinates the provision of nursing services that reflect the nursing philosophy and standards according to our policies and procedures. The RN position promotes the physical and mental health of our clients. Our RNs are members of the interdisciplinary treatment team and share the goal of assisting residents in caring for their own health. The position coordinates and monitors medical services, including psychiatric and medication services in response to individual resident needs.Shift: (7:00am - 7:30pm) OR (7:00pm - 7:30am)Essential Duties & Responsibilities:Administer and document medication safely and accurately according to the policies and procedures accepted by the PSO.Conduct waived testing for urine, blood work and glucose monitoring.Provide and assure the provision of direct care for the patients consistent with the philosophy and goals of the nursing department.Develop and assist staff in identifying and addressing patient's problems by formulating goal-oriented plan of care and evaluating care rendered.Assist staff in planning of care or discharge and continuing care.Assess changing needs of the patients during the shift and adjusts in assignments as appropriate.Implement and assist staff in patient teaching program based on specific patient needs.Assist in reviewing staff member's achievement of documentation standards and provides feedback.Maintains patient care standards in accordance with the regulations of governmental and standardizing agencies.RequirementsMinimum Qualifications:Graduate of an accredited school of nursingCurrent New York State Registered Nurse licenseCurrently registered as a professional registered nurse in good standingCurrent Valid BLS/CPRTwo (2) years of experience in nursingPrior experience in administering medication in a detox/rehab facility settingSkills:Computer skillsInterpersonal skillsStrong communications skillsCritical thinkingDetailed orientatedTime management
