Lead Carpenter / Working Project Manager

LEAD CARPENTER / WORKING PROJECT MANAGER: Diversified remodeling company has an excellent opportunity for a Lead Carpenter / Working Project Manager in a year-around position. Need to be: · Experienced: preferably with a minimum of 5 yrs residential o Kitchen and bathroom renovations · With foresight: vision, planning ahead, big picture · Solution focused: strong problem-solving skills · Reliable: including having your own transportation & a clean license · Quality minded: precise, end result gratifies customers’ expectation · Organized: with strong communication, management and technical skills · Confident: yet not afraid to learn and ask questions Position will entail/require: · The ability to supervise a project from Start to Finish in an efficient manner: o Including, but not limited to: scheduling Subcontractors, product ordering · Having knowledge/experience of the residential construction remodeling trade; including building codes · Scheduling and meeting with inspectors and sub-contractors · Take ownership of projects. Ensuring work is completed on time, within budget and highest standard · Having your own hand tools · A commitment to outstanding customer service · Being able to lift a minimum of 70lbs · Working alongside technicians/tradesman/homeowners to ensure efficiency and desired results · Being able to read construction documents. Ie: plans, specifications, permits, etc. · Being proficient in: finish work, framing, interior trim, cabinet installation, etc. · Work area: – throughout WNY o However, mainly less than a 10 mile radius from Orchard Park · Maintain a clean, organized and safe work environment · Maintain accurate records of project progress, labor hours and materials used Benefits: · Consistent work, top pay. · Work week: Monday thru Friday. Typically, 40-42 hours a week o It is very rare to work on Saturday · Work hours: 7:30am to 4:00pm.
