The role focuses on supervising staff, coordinating care activities, and guiding programs that uphold quality standards. As a Social Worker Supervisor, you will perform the following duties: Department Leadership:Oversee social services operations, set standards, and direct staff responsibilities to support residents Care Coordination:Manage assessments, admissions, transfers, and discharges while ensuring accurate documentation Team Collaboration:Participate in interdisciplinary planning and integrate psychosocial assessments into care plans Grievance Management:Guide the investigation and follow through of resident grievances according to facility policies Resident Counseling:Provide individual or group counseling using supportive and therapeutic techniques Committee Participation:Represent the department on committees and support program development and staff trainingInterested in learning more? Check your email, including spam/junk folders, for these notices.REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:One year of experience as a Social Worker 2 or a Forensic Social Worker 2(Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration) ; and a master's degree in social work or social welfare;or Three years of professional social work experience, including one year in a consultative, administrative, advisory, or lead work capacity; and a master's degree in social work or social welfare.Condition of Employment:You must be in possession ofa valid license as a Licensed Social Worker or Licensed Clinical Social Worker issued by the Pennsylvania State Board of Social Workers, Marriage and Family Therapists and Professional Counselors.Other Requirements:You must meet thePA residency requirement.
