Field Service Technician

Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for a Field Service Technician based in Minneapolis, MN. The technician will be responsible for performing maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on balers and compactors at various customer locations. Additional tasks include diagnosing equipment issues, conducting inspections, installing new machinery, and ensuring all work complies with safety standards. The role will require timely reporting, maintaining accurate service records, and delivering exceptional customer service during each site visit. Qualifications Experience in troubleshooting and repairing industrial equipment such as balers and compactors.Skills in mechanical systems, electrical systems, and hydraulic diagnostics and repairs.Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.Comfortable working with tools, equipment, and machinery in a hands-on environment.Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail in identifying and resolving equipment issues.Excellent customer service and communication skills to interact professionally with clients.Ability to maintain detailed service records and provide timely reporting.Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel locally to customer sites.High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or relevant certifications are a plus.
