In addition to selling CNC metalworking equipment, we design andintegrate advanced automation solutions for general and precision machining operations—primarily using FANUC robotic systemsOur automation business continues to grow, and we're looking for experienced Automation Technicians who enjoy hands-on work, problem-solving, and seeing projects through from build to install.Compensation & Benefits$30.00 – $35.00 per hour – depending on experience and qualifications Medical, Dental & Vision Insurance – effective Day 1401(k) with company matchGenerous paid time off (holidays, personal time, and vacation)Monday - Friday, 7 AM - 4:30 PMOngoing technical training and developmentWhat You'll DoAutomation cell assembly & troubleshooting Diagnose and repair hydraulic, electrical, electronic, pneumatic, mechanical, and software issues. Identify and replace components, test systems, and make adjustments as needed.Automation cell installation Install robotic cells and related accessories at customer sites. Perform system setup, robot path adjustments, and final commissioning.Robot programming Write and modify teach-pendant programs with proper logic for machine-tending applications.Customer support Work directly with customers on-site or by phone to diagnose issues and provide timely follow-up.Automation projects Program, complete, prove-out, and deliver automation solutions based on customer requirements.Safety & documentation Follow all safety requirements, maintain a clean work area, and complete required paperwork and system documentation accurately and on time.Participate in ongoing technical training and perform other duties as needed.What We're Looking For1+ year of experience in a Robot or Automation Technician role or similar Degree or certificate in Automation Technology, Robotics, Mechatronics, Automated Machinery Systems, or a related fieldExperience with FANUC robots preferredKnowledge of ROBOGUIDE, FANUC teach pendant programming, HandlingTool, and iRVision is a plusStrong understanding of electrical circuitry, mechanical systems, hydraulics, and pneumaticsAbility to read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and diagramsProficiency using hand and power toolsAbility to safely perform electrical wiring and troubleshootingFamiliarity with robot integration and machine-vision applicationsStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a project-based teamValid driver's license and acceptable motor vehicle recordWillingness to work occasional overtime and overnight travel (~20%)Why Productivity?We've built our reputation on integrity, technical excellence, and outstanding customer service—and that starts with how we treat our employees.
