Middle School PreACT Champion

Job Title: MS PreACT Champion Job Summary: We are seeking an organized and proactive individual to serve as the Marshfield Junior High School PreACT Champion. This role involves overseeing the administration of the PreACT, providing detailed data reports, facilitating clear communication with staff and parents, and working to remove both financial and academic barriers to testing for students. In addition to predicting a student's performance on the ACT, the PreACT test measures academic achievement in English, math, reading, and science Key Responsibilities: Coordinate PreACT Administration: Oversee the scheduling and organization of the -PreACT at the school site. Arrange test dates, locations, and proctor assignments for the PreACT. Ensure that all PreACT materials and resources are ordered, distributed, and securely handled. Address and resolve any issues that arise during the testing process to ensure smooth administration. Data Reporting: Compile, analyze, and prepare detailed data reports related to PreACT performance and participation. Provide actionable insights and recommendations based on data to improve future testing processes and support student achievement. Maintain accurate records and documentation for each PreACT administration. Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for all PreACT-related communications with staff, students, and parents. Develop and distribute informative materials about the PreACT, including schedules, procedures, and preparation tips. Address any questions or concerns from staff and parents in a timely and professional manner. Remove Barriers: Ensure that all students have equal access to PreACT testing opportunities regardless of financial constraints. Identify and support students who may face academic challenges that could impact their performance on the PreACT. Work with teachers and academic advisors to develop strategies and interventions to help students succeed in preparing for and taking the PreACT. Provide resources and support to help students improve their readiness and confidence for the PreACT. Qualifications: Strong organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Proficiency in data analysis and report generation. Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively. Demonstrated commitment to removing barriers and supporting equitable access to educational opportunities. Compensation: This is an extra duty pay position of $1000 The MS PreACT Champion plays a crucial role in the successful administration of the PreACT, ensuring equitable access, and supporting students' academic growth.
