*Role ¬PHP Developer* *Location ¬Atlanta, GA- (Onsite)- Hybrid local best* *Contract Length – 6 months contract * *Job Description* *Essential* *Responsibilities:* ¬タᄁ Responsible for designing, developing, testing, operating and maintaining products using PHP/React.js frameworks. ¬タᄁ Takes full stack ownership by consistently writing production-ready and testable code. ¬タᄁ Consistently creates optimal design adhering to architectural best practices; considers scalability, reliability and performance of systems/contexts affected when defining technical designs. ¬タᄁ Makes sound design/coding decisions keeping customer experience in the forefront. ¬タᄁ Takes feedback from code review and apply changes to meet standards. Conducts code reviews to provide guidance on engineering best practices and compliance with development procedures. ¬タᄁ Accountable for ensuring all aspects of product development follow compliance and security best practices. ¬タᄁ Exhibits relentless focus in software reliability engineering standards embedded into development standards. ¬タᄁ Embraces emerging technology opportunities and contributes to the best practices in support of the bank ¬タルs technology transformation. ¬タᄁ Contributes to a culture of innovation, collaboration and continuous improvement ¬タᄁ Reviews tasks critically and ensures they are appropriately prioritized and sized for incremental delivery. Anticipates and communicates blockers and delays before they require escalation. *Basic Qualifications:*¬ ᄁ Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience ¬タᄁ 6-8+ years of relevant experience ¬タᄁ Utilizes technical expertise and leadership skills to resolve issues, ensure product goals are met, and serve as a mentor to coach and support junior engineers to continue to raise the engineering bar across the organization. ¬タᄁ Works to drive both high level and detailed technical designs, conducts technical reviews and define solution requirements and technical implementation approaches. ¬タᄁ Proficient understanding of algorithms, data structures, architectural design patterns and best practices. ¬タᄁ Solid proficiency in PHP and Laravel ¬タᄁ 6-8 years of experience with PHP ¬タᄁ Knowledge of modern authorization mechanisms, such as JSON Web Token ¬タᄁ Able to communicate processes and results with all parties involved in the product team, including engineers, product owner, scrum master, third party vendors and customers. ¬タᄁ Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. *Required Skills:* ¬タᄁ Advanced PHP and MySQL knowledge ¬タᄁ version control (git) ¬タᄁ unix commands ¬タᄁ Strong understanding of the MVC pattern, OOP ¬タᄁ Laravel Repository Pattern ¬タᄁ Experience in Unit testing (PHPUnit) ¬タᄁ Experience building, optimizing, and utilizing REST APIs ¬タᄁ Extensive knowledge of coding standards and best practices ¬タᄁ Experience with such code versioning tools as GIT ¬タᄁ Mentor more junior colleagues ¬タᄁ Agile work experience ¬タᄁ Bonus: Redis, Docker, AWS, Swagger ¬タᄁ Full software life-cycle experience working on complex products within Agile environments Job Type: Contract Pay: $65.32 - $75.77 per hour Schedule: * 8 hour shift Experience: * Front-end development: 1 year (Preferred) * CSS: 1 year (Preferred) * Angular: 1 year (Preferred) Work Location: On the road
