Location Requirements 20% - 100% in SCIF/at site (ranges by customer) 0% - 80% remote/UNCLASSIFIED locations (ranges by customer) Job Type Part-Time to Full-Time (Full-Time = 1,860 work hours per year) Compensation $100K - $250K / year, based on candidate attributes (skills, experience) Job Description Technical Areas of Interest: Satellite acquisition (all aspects) and architecture (GEOINT, SIGINT, Communications), Multi-INT capabilities, Mission Data Processing, Command & Control (C2), Mission Management (MM), data and target discovery solutions, system and software design, architecture, and security. MMAX consultants / business managers provide “buyer side” advisory support to customers in a variety of technical or mission areas (current areas of interest shown above). Personnel provide business and analytic solutions/recommendations and implementation support to meet customer mission requirements/objectives alongside program technical and acquisition expertise. Activities include (but are not limited to): Interface and lead estimation and planning activities between Government representatives, SETA/FFRDC, and all other customers and stakeholders, resulting in development of defensible schedule cost estimates and strategic plans. Collect and manage historical data to facilitate improved downstream cost estimation and analytic activities to include collection method (CDRL item design), data evaluation, data storage, program structure, reporting, and trend analysis. Develop cost estimates utilizing recommended modeling and measuring techniques including mathematics, statistical methods, and engineering methods for proposed technologies and concepts to reach a quantitative, rational basis to support decision-making. Analyze, synthesize, and report schedule progress and risk utilizing multiple sources including JIRA, MS Project, or other data and deliverables to provide regular updates to the Government on program and contract performance. Perform monthly analysis of contractor EVM and schedule deliverables, including analyzing Performance Management Baselines (PMBs) and pointing out areas of risk and concern for the Government. o Support what-if analyses, risk and uncertainty analyses, analyses of alternatives (AoAs), health assessments, schedule realism analysis, variance analysis, correlation of schedule and cost performance analysis. Collaborate extensively with Government and contractor budget and finance organizations to ensure consistent reporting of business-related strategies, impacts, and changes. o Support source selection activities such as cost evaluation and schedule realism analysis of contractor proposals, including comment and report / briefing generation.
