Senior Project / Program Manager – Technology ResiliencyLocation: Downtown Chicago, IL (Hybrid – 3 days onsite)Employment Type: Contract (W2 only)Pay Rate: $70–$75/hourWe are seeking an experienced Senior Project / Program Manager to support a Technology Resiliency Program within a leading financial institution’s corporate office in downtown Chicago. This role will operate within the PMO and lead critical infrastructure and resiliency-focused initiatives.OverviewThis position will provide program management leadership across multiple high-impact technology initiatives, ensuring alignment with enterprise standards, risk controls, and regulatory expectations. The role requires a strong ability to manage complex programs, influence stakeholders, and drive execution in a fast-paced, highly regulated environment.Program Manager / Project Manager - Key ResponsibilitiesLead and manage infrastructure and technology resiliency programs within a PMO structureDrive execution of complex, large-scale initiatives with significant scope, risk, and visibilityPartner with cross-functional teams to define scope, timelines, deliverables, and resource plansEnsure alignment with enterprise PMO standards, IT controls, and regulatory requirementsProvide clear communication and reporting to stakeholders at all levelsManage risks, dependencies, and issues while driving resolutionSupport governance, status reporting, and overall program healthUtilize PPM tools and project tracking systems to maintain transparency and controlProgram Manager / Project Manager - Required Qualifications10+ years of experience in project/program managementExperience working within a PMO or portfolio management environmentProven track record leading infrastructure technology projectsStrong knowledge of Waterfall, Agile, and Hybrid methodologiesExperience navigating risk, regulatory, and compliance requirementsExcellent stakeholder management and communication skillsStrong analytical and problem-solving abilitiesAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, matrixed environmentHands-on experience with tools such as Clarity, ServiceNow, Jira, Azure DevOpsProficiency with MS Office Suite (Project, SharePoint, Teams, etc.)Preferred QualificationsExperience within financial services or a highly regulated environmentBackground leading application development initiativesPMP or Agile certifications (ACP)This is a strong opportunity to contribute to enterprise-level resiliency initiatives within a highly visible program.
