We pride ourselves on the impact we have on the early childhood field through supporting teachers who are doing the most important work there is, teaching children to become creative, confident thinkers.Position OverviewThe Director of Professional Development Quality and Delivery is responsible for driving PD revenue byensuring the highest level of quality in training experiences. The primary focus of this role is to managethe PD delivery team and to make sure our network of contractor trainers are prepared and to representTeaching Strategies as subject matter experts across all solutions.This role requires a strategic thinker who is collaborative, inspirational, passionate about our mission, andcommitted to measurable results.Specific Roles & ResponsibilitiesManages the PDN Managers and supports them to fulfill their individual goalsWorks closely with PDN Managers to ensure that PDN are observed, receive support, feedback and coachingMaintains a system which tracks session evaluation results to establish continuous improvement plans for PDNRegularly evaluates onboarding experience of new PDN through surveys and interviews to make necessary adjustments and provide targeted supportRegularly reviews PDN session evaluations to determine areas of need for professional developmentWorks collaboratively with the PDN Managers and other internal teams to recruit and onboard new training contractorsFacilitates ongoing feedback loop with customers, business partners and PDN to encourage constructive dialogue and reflection to support continuous cycle of improvement on training effectiveness and identifying innovative methods to meet evolving training needsAlong with PDN Managers, develops and manages the execution of Professional Development policies and procedures to support and increase effective training and coaching practicesCollaborates with internal teams to ensure "special teams" are prepared and successful in supporting long-term strategic account PD plansGathers, analyzes, evaluates, action plans and reports monthly on training surveys and PD pipe planningServes as subject matter expert across all Teaching Strategies SolutionsContinuously measures the effectiveness of professional development content and delivery through content reviews, observations, assessment of competencies and of trainers, through analysis of evaluations of sessions, customer feedback, trainer self-evaluations and planning formsPartner with PD content team on the creation of new PD sessions and PD products/solutionsBuilds systems and processes that help proactively identify challenges and opportunitiesQualificationsMaster’s degree in early childhood education or related field10 years' experience managing customer facing teams and/or educatorsAt least 5 years experience in early childhoodExcellent presentation skills that demonstrate the ability to present information while also delighting the audienceStrong leadership skills with the ability to motivate team members and create a culture of excellenceDemonstrated success in strategic planning, vision setting, culture building, and delivering quantifiable resultsExperience establishing and communicating performance and quality metrics aligned with organizational goalsAbility to travel 25% of timeSelf-directed and strong drive for successExcellent verbal and written communication skillsAbility to learn new technology applicationsExpert knowledge of Teaching Strategies productsProficiency in Microsoft Office products is requiredWhy Teaching StrategiesAt Teaching Strategies, our solutions and services are only as strong as the teams that create them.
