Exciting Opportunity for an Attending AnesthesiologistOur organization, affiliated with a prominent healthcare system in New York City, is seeking a dedicated Attending Anesthesiologist to join our team.Key ResponsibilitiesAdminister anesthetics to ensure patients are pain-free during surgical and medical procedures.Evaluate patients to assess surgical risk and determine the appropriate anesthetic and sedation methods, discussing findings with the relevant medical professionals.Document the type and dosage of anesthetics and sedation given, as well as the patient's condition before, during, and after the administration of anesthesia.Provide consultative, resuscitative, and therapeutic care for patients experiencing shock, respiratory issues, or acute and chronic pain.Requirements and QualificationsM.D. or D.O. degree.Completion of ACGME accredited residency training in Anesthesiology.Board certification by the ABA or in the process of obtaining certification.Valid New York State medical license, DEA registration, and Medicaid number.Strong clinical skills along with excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.Experience in public health systems is preferred.Working ConditionsThe facility is conveniently accessible via public transportation and personal vehicles from various locations across New York City, New Jersey, and Long Island.Benefits and Growth OpportunitiesWe offer a supportive work environment that encourages professional development and growth.
