Kitchen Staff - Bakery - Pretzels
Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Kitchen Team Member to join our team. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen and producing top quality pretzels.
Start date:
- September 14, 2024
- Training start date beginning of September
Work hours TBD. Likely schedule will be:
- Friday 9am-3pm (this can be flexible if both kitchen staff coordinate time together) and
- Saturday 2am-6am
Pay:
- approx. $30/h. Work is paid by batches of pretzels.
Duties:
- Prepare and bake pretzels according to recipe and food safety guidelines.
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to high standards of cleanliness and food safety.
- Work collaboratively with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient and effective kitchen operations.
Requirements:
- Must have a food handler certificate or obtain one prior to start
- Preferred candidates with food manager certification or ability to obtain one prior to start.
- Preferably experience baking and working with dough.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
- Strong teamwork skills.
- Availability to work a flexible schedule

Note: Additional work as farmers market sales staff may be available if desired. Mainly Wednesday, Saturday, Sunday.

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 8 – 15 per week
