Their technology is designed to accelerate AI workloads in data centers, enabling faster, more efficient model deployment across a wide range of applications.Role Overview We are seeking a highly skilled Kernel Engineer to develop and optimize low-level system software for cutting-edge ML hardware. You will play a critical role in bringing up new silicon, enabling performance-critical features, and ensuring seamless interaction between hardware and software stacks.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and maintain kernel components, including device drivers and system-level featuresBring up and debug new hardware platforms (SoC/ASIC)Optimize kernel performance for high-throughput, low-latency machine learning workloadsCollaborate closely with hardware, firmware, and ML software teamsDiagnose and resolve complex system-level issues (boot, memory, I/O, interrupts, etc.)Contribute to upstream Linux kernel when applicableRequired QualificationsStrong experience with Linux kernel development (drivers, memory management, scheduling, etc.)Proficiency in C and low-level systems programmingExperience with embedded systems or SoC bring-upFamiliarity with debugging tools (e.g., GDB, perf, ftrace, JTAG)Solid understanding of computer architecture and operating systemsPreferred QualificationsExperience with PCIe, DMA, interrupts, and high-speed I/OBackground in performance optimization for compute-intensive workloadsExposure to ML/AI systems or accelerators (GPU, TPU, NPU, or custom ASICs)Experience working with ARM-based systems or heterogeneous architecturesContributions to open-source projects (especially Linux kernel)Why JoinOpportunity to work on cutting-edge ML hardware at an early-stage startupHigh impact role with direct influence on product performanceCollaborative, fast-paced engineering cultureCompetitive compensation, equity, and benefits
