Data Integration Engineer

Our top client in the travel/transportation industry is searching for a Lead Data Integrations Engineer to join their team! You will be responsible for data replication using Oracle GoldenGate and Qlik Replicate, supporting multiple solutions that replicate data to various repositories while leading the team and working closely with stakeholders. Ideal candidates have in-depth Python scripting experience and a background in infrastructure, including networking and understanding server performance.BA Degree is required for this position1+ year contract with benefits available on contract and a possibility of conversion100% remoteWe are only able to hire from the following states at this time: MO, IL, VA, CO, KS, TX, NC, GA, TN, FL, MI, IN, OK, SC*Cannot work C2C, 3rd party, or referral*Required:Must be presently authorized to work in the U.S. without a requirement for work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the futureMust reside in the United States (does not include Alaska or Hawaii)Must be able to work a schedule within U.S. Central Standard Time core business hours.Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems or related field5+ years’ experience with Python scriptingWorking knowledge of JSON, including creating, parsing, validating, and troubleshooting JSON payloads for configuration files, APIs, or system integrations.Experience with Networking and Firewall configurationsExperience working with Unix, Linux, and Windows OS (reading Log files)Must have experience in full lifecycle development and end-to-end testingPreferred:3+ years of combined experience working with multiple RDBMS platforms (Oracle, Microsoft SQL, MariaDB, PostgreSQL, etc.Experience with Data Integration productsExperience with Data Lake/Data Warehouse platformsDemonstrated experience leading innovative or large initiativesKnowledge and working experience with Agile methodologiesKnowledge of database encryptionFamiliarity with cloud solutions like Amazon and AzureProject management experienceKnowledge of PCI or other IT Security compliance standardKnowledge of Data Governance best practices
