Cost Management, Consultant

Role Overview Cost Management Consultant – Financial Decision Support. Location: United States (Remote). Travel: This position is currently not eligible for visa sponsorship.Key Responsibilities Overall project management and success of deployments for the PowerCosting product suite.Interact regularly with client Finance, Operations, and Clinical teams throughout the engagement.Guide clients and the technical implementation team during assessment and deployment phases.Own project timelines, tasks, and goals.Provide end-user training and act as the primary point of contact for software issues and troubleshooting.Act as the primary liaison between the client and the PowerCosting product development team, tracking issues and logging enhancement requests.Maintain compliance with Information Security, Acceptable Use Policy and HIPAA Privacy and Security requirements.Qualifications 5+ years of experience in finance, operations and/or cost accounting within a healthcare system or provider organization.At least 3 years of program or project management experience.Proven executive account management experience, ideally in health-care related industry.Strong knowledge of cost accounting principles and healthcare operations, including chart-of-accounts groupings, overhead and re-classification rules, and resource utilization drivers.Demonstrated project management experience with strong attention to detail.Experience in building collaborative, motivated implementation teams.Hands-on experience in the implementation of cost accounting systems in a healthcare environment (from vendor or client perspective).Proficiency with project management tools; experience using Slack or other modern communication tools.Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting (preferred).Desired Skills Exceptional interpersonal, communication, relationship-building, organizational, and time-management skills.Ability to bridge communication and work cross-functionally with technology, clinical, and administrative resources.Adaptability in dynamic environments, applying best practices in clinical and agile technology program management.Detail-oriented, efficient, organized, resourceful, and highly productive.Analytical problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills.Benefits Remote-first work environment, flexible PTO, professional development stipend, and meaningful opportunities for career growth and development.Equal Opportunity Statement Health Catalyst is an equal opportunity employer.
