Driveline Verification & Validation Engineer

The role supports the development, testing, and validation of driveline systems across agricultural and off-highway vehicle applications, focusing on performance, durability, and reliability through V\&V activities using NI-based toolchains.Key ResponsibilitiesPlan and execute verification and validation activities for driveline systems (mechanical and control aspects).Develop and run test procedures on rigs and vehicles to evaluate system performance, durability, and functional compliance.Utilize National Instruments VeriStandTestStand and LabVIEW to implement test automation, data acquisition, and result analysis.Ensure testing is conducted in accordance with relevant standards, safety procedures, and customer requirements.Contribute to continuous improvement of testing methodologies and data management processes.Required SkillsProven expertise in driveline systems (mechanical layout, torque transfer, controls interface).Strong background in verification & validation processes, including test planning, execution, and reporting.Proficiency in National Instruments VeriStand or TestStand and LabVIEW toolchains for system testing and automation.Familiarity with vehicle communication networks (CAN, LIN) and data logging tools.Understanding of mechanical and control system interactions within powertrain and driveline domains.Profile RequirementsBachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, or Automotive Engineering.Minimum 3+ years of experience in driveline or powertrain testing and validation.Experience in the agricultural sector or off-highway vehicle development is highly preferred.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work both independently and in cross-functional teams.Location: Chicago Metropolitan areaType of employment: Full timeBenefits offered by Teoresi, Inc.Teoresi, Inc. provides the following company insurance policies: Health, Vision, Dental, Life, Long Term Disability (LTD) and Short Term Disability (STD).
