In this role, you will work closely with licensed Physical Therapists to provide quality care and support to patients during their rehabilitation journey.Assist Physical Therapists in delivering prescribed patient treatments and therapeutic exercisesPrepare treatment areas and maintain therapy equipment in proper working conditionTransport patients to and from therapy sessions and assist with proper positioningPerform clerical duties including scheduling appointments and maintaining patient recordsClean and sanitize treatment areas, equipment, and supplies according to protocolsMonitor and document patient responses to therapyAssist patients with therapeutic exercises and provide basic instruction under therapist supervisionMaintain inventory of therapy supplies and equipmentEnsure compliance with safety protocols and HIPAA regulationsQualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent required0-1 year experience in healthcare setting; previous PT aide experience preferredProficiency in operating physical therapy equipment and devicesWorking knowledge of medical terminology and HIPAA requirementsStrong understanding of proper patient positioning and transfer techniquesExperience with electronic health records (EHR) systemsExcellent interpersonal skills and ability to work with diverse patient populationsPhysical stamina to assist patients and stand for extended periodsStrong organizational skills and attention to detailAbility to follow detailed instructions and maintain accurate recordsAdditional InformationCompensation of $12-14 hourlyEmployee discount plansEmployee Assistance Program (EAP)Family-friendly work environment
