Litigation Associate

We are partnered with a large national full-service AM 200 firm, who are seeking to strengthen its Litigation practice in New York by adding a mid-level Litigation Associate. This is an excellent opportunity to work on lean litigation teams providing strong exposure to a broad range of complex disputes, with outlined career progression.Key Requirements:J.D. and admitted to the New York Bar3–5 years of litigation experience in a law firm settingExperience handling a broad range of commercial litigation mattersStrong experience with all phases of litigation, including pleadings, discovery, motion practice, and trial preparationExperience drafting and arguing motions, including motions to dismiss and for summary judgmentDeposition and courtroom experience strongly preferredExcellent writing, research, and analytical skillsA highly motivated self-starter eager to engage in hands-on work and seeking long-term growth within the firmKey Responsibilities:Manage and support all phases of the litigation lifecycle from inception through resolutionDraft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documentsConduct legal research and develop case strategiesHandle discovery, including document review, drafting requests, and managing productionsPrepare for and take depositions, as well as assist with witness preparationSupport trial preparation, including drafting pre-trial materials and coordinating logisticsCollaborate closely with partners and clients on case strategy and executionMaintain strong client relationships and provide practical, business-oriented adviceThis position offers an exciting opportunity to work on sophisticated and high-stakes litigation matters within a collaborative and team-oriented environment, with meaningful responsibility and client exposure from day one.1900 billables2 days per week in office
