Position OverviewThe Scheduler is responsible for coordinating and managing the daily production schedule for dental cases. This role supports workflow planning, turnaround time commitments, and internal communication across departments to ensure smooth production operations.The ideal candidate is proactive, organized, and confident communicating with both internal teams and external clients.Key ResponsibilitiesBuild, manage, and maintain daily and weekly production schedulesCoordinate case flow from intake through final deliveryMonitor turnaround times and ensure deadlines are metCommunicate schedule changes, priorities, and production updates to department leadsTrack incoming and outgoing cases and confirm accurate due datesIdentify bottlenecks and collaborate with leadership to adjust workflow as neededSupport case intake, order review, and documentation accuracyEnsure proper case routing based on product type, priority level, and production capacityCoordinate with shipping and logistics to meet delivery commitmentsProvide exceptional customer service support when communicating timelinesMaintain accurate scheduling records and production tracking logsRequired Qualifications2+ years of scheduling, production coordination, or operations support experienceStrong organizational skills and attention to detailAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentStrong communication skills, both written and verbalProficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook) and scheduling systemsAbility to work independently while collaborating with multiple departmentsPreferred QualificationsExperience in a dental laboratory, manufacturing, medical device, or production environmentFamiliarity with dental case management software and workflow systemsExperience coordinating work across multiple technicians and departmentsWhat Success Looks Like in This RoleCases are scheduled accurately and consistentlyProduction teams have clear priorities and minimal disruptionsTurnaround times are protected and client expectations are metCommunication is proactive, professional, and solution-focusedWhy BioTec Dental LaboratoryBioTec is built on craftsmanship, precision, and client trust.
