Java Backend DeveloperLocation: New JerseyContract: 12+ Months.Note: H1B, H4-EAD & GC-EAD (Passport number required)Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and maintain workflow-driven applications using Java framework, Spring Boot, Angular JSImplement event-driven architectures using Apache KafkaEnsure application performance, scalability, and reliability through performance engineering best practicesCollaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new featuresTranslate business requirements into technical specifications and deliverablesContribute to architectural decisions and code reviews to maintain high code qualityRequired Skills & Qualifications9+ years of hands-on experience in software development with a strong focus on backend and frontend deliveryProficiency in Java, Spring Boot, and AngularStrong knowledge of RDBMS concepts, with hands-on experience in MS SQL ServerSolid understanding of non-functional requirements such as performance, scalability, security, and maintainabilityStrong debugging, problem-solving, and analytical skillsExperience with performance engineering and tools for profiling and optimizationExcellent communication and collaboration skillsPreferred QualificationsExperience in building user-facing web applications with high availability and responsivenessKnowledge of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and CI/CD pipelines
