Position SummaryThe Barback supports the bar team in delivering exceptional, timely, and seamless service to guests. This role is responsible for maintaining bar cleanliness, organization, and stock levels while assisting bartenders to ensure efficient operations. The Barback plays a critical role in upholding Forbes Travel Guide service standards and creating a polished, professional bar environment.Essential Duties And ResponsibilitiesStock and replenish bar inventory including liquor, beer, wine, glassware, garnishes, and suppliesMaintain cleanliness and organization of bar areas, including counters, storage areas, and service stationsAssist bartenders with preparing garnishes, juices, and bar setup/breakdownRemove used glassware and barware in a timely and efficient mannerEnsure ice bins are consistently filled and maintainedSupport timely service by anticipating bartender and guest needsFollow all safety, sanitation, and alcohol service regulationsMaintain a clean and professional appearance of the bar at all timesAssist with receiving and organizing deliveries as neededUphold resort and Forbes Travel Guide standards of service, professionalism, and presentationWork collaboratively with bartenders, servers, and leadership to ensure a seamless guest experienceQualificationsPrevious barback, food & beverage, or hospitality experience preferred but not requiredAbility to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environmentStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsAbility to anticipate needs and work proactivelyExcellent teamwork and communication skillsFlexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidaysPhysical RequirementsAbility to stand and walk for extended periods of timeAbility to lift and carry up to 50 lbsFrequent bending, reaching, and liftingAbility to work in a fast-paced environment with moderate noise levelsWork EnvironmentIndoor and outdoor bar and restaurant environmentExposure to varying temperatures, including heat and humidityFast-paced, guest-focused hospitality settingWhy Join The Sea Pines ResortAs a team member of The Sea Pines Resort, you will be part of a Forbes Travel Guide–recommended destination known for exceptional service, world-class amenities, and a strong culture of hospitality.
