Dartmouth Health - Cheshire Medical Center in Keene, NH is looking for an experienced, board-certified general surgical ophthalmologist to lead its ophthalmology team as its Chief of Ophthalmology. This position requires strong leadership abilities, exceptional clinical expertise, and a commitment to providing high-quality patient care.We are looking for someone who:Can lead and mentor a team of ophthalmologists, optometrists, and support staff to foster a collaborative and productive work environment;Is passionate about patient-centered care;Fosters a culture of continuous learning, professional development, and excellence in patient care.Position Overview:Located in downtown KeeneGeneral ophthalmology with ability to subspecializeStrong, highly skilled support team of certified ophthalmic assistantsEpic EMRJoin an established team of 3 ophthalmologists, 2 optometrists, and 15 support staffRequirements:MD, DO, or equivalent degreeBoard-certified/Board-eligible in OphthalmologyA minimum of 5 years of experience in ophthalmologyCommitment to a culture of diversity, equity, inclusion, and belongingStrong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with multidisciplinary teamsAbility to obtain/maintain NH medical licenseAbout Keene:Keene is a picturesque college town in southern New Hampshire that is an ideal place to call home.
