Senior Systems Analyst, Procurement Operations
Description
POSITION DESCRIPTION:
We are seeking a Senior Systems Analyst, Sourcing Operations, to play a critical role in designing, operating, and scaling the procurement systems and analytics infrastructure for a rapidly growing residential solar provider. This position sits within the Procurement organization and serves as a key owner of procurement data, workflows, and system performance, with direct responsibility for purchasing accuracy, demand visibility, pricing integrity, and supplier data governance across high-volume project execution.
This role goes beyond transactional system support and acts as a strategic partner to Procurement, Operations, Fulfillment, Planning & Logistics, and Finance, translating complex operational requirements into scalable system design, reporting frameworks, and repeatable processes. The Senior Systems Analyst will actively influence how procurement decisions are made, how supply-chain risks are surfaced, and how the organization scales with discipline and control. The ideal candidate brings strong systems thinking, advanced analytical capability, and hands-on experience operating in fast-growing, operationally complex environments. This is a full-time, in-office role based in our downtown San Francisco office.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Own and administer procurement systems and data infrastructure, ensuring purchasing workflows, approvals, and configurations drive accurate, compliant, and scalable execution
Lead procurement systems operations, including purchase order lifecycle management, issue resolution, and continuous improvement of system-enabled workflows
Design and maintain demand planning, forecasting, and reporting tools aligned with project schedules, inventory targets, and installation needs
Own pricing, item master, and vendor master data governance, including pricing databases, should-cost models, integrations, and data integrity across platforms
Develop and manage supplier performance analytics, including KPIs, scorecards, and reporting that support vendor management and continuous improvement
Support and optimize supplier portals and inventory workflows, ensuring data accuracy, system adoption, and process adherence
Lead and support procurement platform enhancements and integrations, including system implementations, automation initiatives, and documentation
Translate procurement and supply-chain requirements into system logic, reporting structures, and scalable workflows
Partner cross-functionally with Operations, Fulfillment, Planning & Logistics, and Finance to align systems, data, and processes with execution and financial controls
Identify and address system gaps, data risks, and process inefficiencies, leading targeted improvement initiatives and special projects
Perform other duties and special projects, as assigned
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
5–7 years of progressive experience in procurement operations, supply chain systems, analytics, or operations roles within renewables, energy, construction, infrastructure, or similarly complex asset-heavy industries
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Analytics, Engineering, Operations Management, Finance, or a related field
Demonstrated experience owning or administering procurement, ERP, or supply-chain systems, including configuration, data governance, and ongoing optimization
Strong understanding of end-to-end procurement workflows and how they translate into system requirements (requisitions, POs, pricing tables, vendor master data, inventory, and reporting)
Proven ability to manage complex, structured datasets (pricing, vendor data, demand forecasts, contracts) and maintain accuracy across integrated platforms
Advanced Excel proficiency, including modeling, dataset reconciliation, validation logic, and system upload support
Ability to translate operational and business needs into system design, reporting frameworks, and repeatable processes
Strong attention to detail combined with system-level thinking and process discipline
Comfort operating in high-growth environments where systems and workflows are being actively built, refined, and scaled
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Experience managing pricing databases, item masters, or should-cost models within procurement or ERP systems (SAP Ariba, Oracle NetSuite, Coupa etc)
