If that sounds like you, we’d love to talk.The RoleThis is a hybrid role based in New York, NY for a Patent Agent or Patent Attorney. In this role, you will:•     Draft and prosecute patent applications•     Conduct patent searches and patentability analyses•     Advise clients on patent law and patent strategyWhat We’re Looking For•     An engineering degree•     Expertise in, or a strong interest in, patent prosecution and patent application drafting•     A self-driven, hard worker who values freedom and thrives without micromanagement•     Strong written and verbal communication skills•     A technical background in a relevant domain such as engineering, computer science, or a related field•     USPTO registration is preferred, but we will consider an engineer with a genuine passion for patent lawExperience & Compensation•     Experience level: Ideal for entry level or early career patent agents and attorneys: approximately 0–4 years’ experience preferred•     Salary range: $75,000–$250,000, depending on experience level and degrees•     Billable hours target: 1,800BenefitsDavidson Kappel offers a competitive benefits package, which may include:•     Medical and dental insurance•     401(k) retirement plan •     Paid time off and firm holidays•     Hybrid work flexibilityReady to build your patent practice with a firm that values both your work and your time?
