With valuable, diverse audiences in America’s top cities, we provide innovative, data-driven solutions for brands to reach urbanites at scale.What is the Role?Intersection is seeking a detail-oriented, analytical, and solutions-driven Advertising Inventory Associate to join our midwest team in Chicago.This role sits at the center of the advertising campaign lifecycle and plays a critical part in supporting revenue generation, operational execution, and inventory strategy across our transit and out-of-home advertising portfolio. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys solving complex logistical puzzles, and can balance day-to-day execution with a proactive mindset toward process improvement and operational efficiency.In this role, you will help manage and optimize advertising inventory across multiple media formats and markets, ensuring campaigns are accurately scheduled, operationally executable, and aligned with client expectations. You’ll work closely with Sales, Operations, Client Success, and other cross-functional teams to support campaign execution while helping identify opportunities to improve workflows, systems, and team processes over time.This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys both operational execution and strategic problem-solving, and who is excited to grow within a collaborative, evolving organization.What You Will AccomplishWithin your first month:Onboard and train with fellow Inventory team members on inventory management workflows, operational processes, and core systems including Quattro, CRM, and SalesforceDevelop a strong understanding of Intersection’s advertising products, inventory structure, and market offeringsBuild relationships with cross-functional partners across Sales, Client Success, Operations, Production, and RevOpsBegin supporting basic availability requests, inventory holds, campaign scheduling, and work order managementLearn how inventory decisions impact operational execution, occupancy strategy, and revenue supportWithin Your First 3–6 MonthsIndependently manage availability requests, inventory holds, and campaign scheduling across assigned markets and media typesCoordinate campaign execution across internal systems while ensuring accuracy, operational feasibility, and alignment with client expectationsCommunicate proactively with Sales and Operations regarding campaign changes, scheduling conflicts, posting instructions, and execution timelinesDevelop strong market knowledge to provide strategic inventory recommendations and maximize revenue opportunitiesTroubleshoot operational and inventory-related issues with a solutions-oriented mindsetHelp identify workflow inefficiencies, process gaps, or opportunities for operational improvements within existing systems and processesCross-train across markets and products to support broader team coverage and operational resiliencYou're a Great Fit For This Role BecauseYou are highly detail-oriented and exceptionally organized, with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneouslyYou are proactive, resourceful, and comfortable taking ownership in a fast-moving environmentYou are an analytical thinker who enjoys problem-solving and working through operational complexitiesYou communicate clearly and collaborate effectively across teams and personalitiesYou are adaptable and comfortable navigating evolving processes, systems, and business prioritiesYou are curious about process improvement, operational efficiency, and leveraging technology to help teams scale more effectivelyYou have 1–3+ years of relevant experience in advertising, media, operations, logistics, inventory management, project coordination, or a related fieldExperience with Salesforce, Google Workspace, or inventory/order management systems is preferredExperience with workflow automation, process optimization, reporting tools, AI-assisted workflows, or operational systems improvements is a plus, but not requiredTotal Cash compensation: $65,000 - $75,000Hybrid Work Policy: Our team operates on a hybrid schedule to balance flexibility with face-to-face collaboration. We require all employees to be in the office every Tuesday and Wednesday.
