VP of Finance

If you’re looking for a leadership role where your expertise is valued and your impact truly matters, we invite you to apply.Key Responsibilities include:Provide strategic leadership of Accounting and Finance functions, including hiring, coaching, performance management, and staff development.Lead financial strategy, annual budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis, including scenario modeling and budget-to-actual reporting.Oversee accounting operations, financial reporting, internal controls, audits, regulatory examinations, and Call Report preparation in accordance with GAAP and NCUA requirements.Manage relationships with outsourced financial partners, auditors, consultants, and vendors to ensure operational efficiency, service quality, and accountability.Support and oversee the Asset/Liability Management (ALM) program, including liquidity management, interest rate risk monitoring, investment oversight, and ALCO reporting.Direct financial analytics and business intelligence efforts through KPI monitoring, dashboards, and profitability analysis to support data-driven decisions.Prepare and present financial reports, forecasts, and strategic insights to the Board of Directors and ALCO.Serve as a strategic advisor to executive leadership while supporting cross-functional collaboration across the organization.Ensure compliance with Bank Secrecy Act (BSA), Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC), Customer Identification Program (CIP), and all applicable regulations and policies.Support the credit union’s mission, vision, and core values through leadership and organizational engagement.Required Skills & Leadership Attributes:Strong executive presence with excellent written and verbal communication skills.Ability to provide strategic financial insight and recommendations based on analysis, experience, and industry knowledge.Proven leadership skills with the ability to inspire, challenge, and develop team members.Collaborative leadership style that strengthens executive partnerships and promotes consistent, high-quality member experience.Sound judgment, strong analytical thinking, and commitment to operational excellence.Education & Experience:A minimum of 7–10 years of progressive financial leadership experience, preferably within a credit union or other financial institution.Extensive operational and financial management experience in a regulated financial environment.Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field required.MBA, CPA, CFA, or other advanced financial certifications are strongly preferred.Knowledge of credit union products and services preferred.Our Benefits Package Include:Medical, Dental and Vision InsurancePaid Time Off13 Paid Holidays401k with Company MatchLife Insurance, Short-Term and Long-Term Disability InsuranceIncentive Plan OpportunitiesDiscount savings on movie tickets, theme parks and moreAt Coastline, we are more than coworkers, we are a team committed to supporting each other and our community.
